A Promise

                                               A promise to always be a friend.
                                     Being able to talk and work trough problems
                                     is a promise you make to a friend.
                                     Being happy to see the other get what they want
                                     is a promise you make to a friend.
                                     How do you one day be a friend and the next
                                     act as if you have never met one another.
                                     How do we go back and be the friends we once were.
                                     How do we work through the problems that have pulled us apart.
                                     How do I make what once was a promise be a promise again.
                                     How do I make you realize how it hurts me to loose you.
                                     I want our promise of friendship to last, please tell me how.
